Gurukul
A Holistic Home For
Destitute Children
Imagine waking up one morning without a roof over your head, food to eat, or clothes to wear. Worse still, not having the means to pay for your education. For many children, this harsh reality is their everyday struggle.
We’ve all encountered children roaming the streets, without access to the most basic necessities. Yet, how often do we truly stop and take action to help them? At Valmiki Foundation, we decided it was time to make a difference.
Introducing Valmiki Gurukul, a home that provides refuge for 100 destitute children. Our mission is to offer the best care and support to those most in need, including:
- Children without parents
- Single-parent children
- Children from below the poverty line
- Children of physically and mentally challenged parents
- Street and abandoned children
At Valmiki Gurukul, we are dedicated to addressing the essential needs of these children. We provide:
Shelter: Valmiki Gurukul has the capacity to accommodate 100 children, creating a nurturing environment as close to a home as possible.
Food: The children are served healthy and nourishing meals during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Once a week, they are also provided with non-vegetarian options, following a carefully planned diet chart.
By offering these basic necessities, we aim to give these children the foundation they need to thrive and reach their full potential. Join us in our mission to transform the lives of the most vulnerable members of our society.
