వాల్మీకి విద్యారథం (Charity on Chariot)

Valmiki Charity on Chariot flagged off on the eve of 9th Anniversary Celebration s of Valmiki Foundation on 18 June 2016. The Founder President of Valmiki Foundation has raised an urge to do this year celebrations little innovatively and directed to the team. Project Director Valmiki Hari Kishan has designed the Chariot program -” why cannot we reach the unreached areas” with the requirements of the Rural and Tribal Children who do not have basic needs to continue their education. Thus found these remote villages in the Mandal of Illandu of Khammam District which is described in Telangana state as most draught areas.

Valmiki Foundation got these villages which are identified by the PURE organization without their support this would not have been successful. Most of the Villages are populated with Tribal’s called Thandas and Koyas who are depending on Agriculture as main survival which is again depending on good rains. The Children are neglected to the core in the areas of education and have got a wrong perception as Children should not go to Government Schools and those who can be offered to send they are sending them to Private schools nearby villages rest are helping parents in Agriculture and wasting their childhood days. Thanks to the NGOs and Government initiatives that every remote village has got basic primary school and Anganwadi kendras.

There is push needed by encouraging the Children and Parents of the Village by providing few more requirements that only NGOs can fill this gap with the support of Corporate. Hope we do get more support from right-minded people to meet few more needs of these poor children.

Valmiki Foundation has covered the villages by name Bombay Thanda, Marrigudem, Edupula Palem, Ellapuram by touching close to 1000 children by supplying the materials like School Books | Slates | Pencils | Boxes | Durries/mats| In-house Game sets | Steel plates and Glasses | Prizes. Valmiki Foundation has raised funds within the sources and met this huge task. This is just a beginning as VALMIKI VIDHYA RATHAM will touch many more Miles to give SMILES on Wheels. Thanks to Rotary India Literacy Mission whose ideology is same to Literate India 100%. Valmiki Foundation is ready to work with anybody to educate empower and enlighten the Children and Adults to make them 100 percent literate.
