Wings of Hope

WINGS OF HOPE: An initiative of trujet Airlines in association with Valmiki Foundation further supported by Pratyusha Support.

Valmiki Gurukul is a home for destitute children currently we have 45 children living with us. Valmiki Gurukulk is a pet project of Valmiki Foundation.  Valmiki Foundation has got major objectives in Social activities to give maximum benefits to the maximum beneficiaries for the maximum period of time. As such Valmiki Foundation rolls out many projects with a mission on sustainable mode, unfortunately, few get stopped in between lack of support.  But Valmiki Foundation never stops any project in between ever after the gaps we believe in continuing for which first awareness is the key and referrals  will fetch donors too.

Since the Valmiki Brothers who keeps traveling very frequently on their business purpose about 4 years ago one of the kids from Valmiki Gurukul asked one of the directors why don’t you give us a chance to see the Aeroplane:  the Director Valmiki Hari Kishan managed to take them to the Air Show at Begumpet and found kids were not happy just watching them they really wanted to fly.

From then Valmiki Hari Kishan has been thinking and working on various possible projects by sending requests to few airlines to organise a Joy Ride for these children nothing were materialized.  One fine day trujet airlines an regional carrier wanted to celebrate their 3 year birthday they took an initiative of taking children on a joy Ride – Valmiki Foundation approached and given a project named it as WINGS OF HOPE :  The CFO and CCO both have accepted this proposal and orgnaised a Press meet before the first batch of children  taking off to Bellary (Hampi).

Trujet announced that not only these children to mark the 3rd year birthday they are willing to give a chance for 300 destitute children on the Joy Ride in different routes of their net work for which Valmiki Foundation started identifying local supporters to host these children on various locations once they land.  Pratyush support added glamor to the project by bringing Samantha Akkineni to flagg off the project along with Naga Chaitanya.  Seshanka Binesh from Pratyusha Support accepted to be the Co Chair for this project by bringing Children from Happy Home and we sincerely thanks to Padmashree Dr.Manjuala Anaghani for always standing with us in any such noble causes so far, we also recognise the Mrs.Universal Rumana Sinha who escorted the children on board by motivating them.  We also thank to the Rotary club of Vijayanagar Steel City and JSW for providing us the excellent accommodation , Sight seeing and sumptuous food.

With the in the period of One year trujet will complete airlifting 300 children and we all truly appreciate the sincere efforts and their kind gesture towards the society. We really wish truejet airlines all the very best for their commercial flights to flouring in upcoming sectors and grow to a national level carrier.  We sincerely thank Mr.Raghavan CCO and Mr.Vishwanat CFO and the the co ordinatore Srinivas from  trujet to make this project a grand success.
