Valmiki Foundation Celebrates 12^th Anniversary with Pride.

Valmiki Foundation which is 12 years old and reached about 50,000 kids has network initiatives in 20 villages and 18 slums. Valmiki Scholarships which are currently helping more than 200 children educating and providing with the necessities in hoping to create them global leaders. Valmiki Foundation celebrated its 12^th Anniversary in Dharur, Near Vikarabad, 50 kms away from Hyderabad on the occasion of celebrating 12 years helping and supporting the children in need, This year, Valmiki foundation has come forward with the Help extended to farmers families who committed suicide and the initiative named as Cheyutha Radham .

Valmiki Foundation was happy to associate with Kisan Mitra for the special event where SECRED SPACE has played a vital role in organizing the event.

Mr Harish Kumar Gupta, Addl DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Guest of Honor, appreciated Valmiki Foundation for coming forward to help families for those farmers who committed suicides.  Film And TV Star Anasuya Bharadwaj, Chief Guest was a special attraction to the event.   Sewing Machines were distributed to the families of the farmers who committed suicide which would be a source for the women in Tailoring and Embroidery for their livelihood. School Books,pencil boxes, Bicycles and cricket kits were also distributed to the children of the deceased farmer’s families.

Cultural activities like singing songs and dance performances by Valmiki Group volunteers and also Valmiki Foundation children were a feast to watch on a day like World Music Day.

Valmiki Foundation has been striving very hard to aim and reach out in bringing smile on one lakh kids. Setting up a Gurukulam School in a five acre land to value education with all round grooming, with a project outlay of Rs 3 crore is our nearest vision.

Valmiki Foundation is also setting up Tailoring Training Centre at Sacred Space founded by Nayanthara for the empowerment of rural women which has so far trained Thirty family members in Tailoring and Embroidery of farmers who committed suicide.

KP Paratha Sarathy, Dr. Partha Sarathy, AP BJP Vice President and  Rotary members of Secunderabad club Members had also participated in this event who always been there to support Valmiki Foundation in every aspect.
