PROJECT OF EGG BANK: An initiative of Valmiki Foundation supported by Pratyusha Support

There are lots of NGOs in and around twin cities and all over who are running Orphanage homes. There are lots of schemes right from Mid day meal from Government schools to Akshaya Patra from ISKON feeding on a regular basis to these children.   Few NGOs cant offered proper 3 meal in a day as they always run for the resources to look after the children education, shelter and food.  All certain done end of the day most of these destitute children are merely surviving with a meal with no nutritions.  There are few NGOs being identified by few donors or sponsors who are supplying nutrition food like Milk, Millets and Eggs.

When Valmiki Gurukul a project of Valmiki Foundation searching for such donors who can contribute an Egg a day for the children we hardly found hence decided to establish a project called Egg Bank not only serving to Valmiki Foundation kids but to all other NGOs in and around the City and to penetrate this project with the Rotary International Support and few other NGOS support to expand the services all over the State and positively all over India.

First and formost requirement is finding a donor who are from the Poultry Industry who can donate on regular mode based on their production certain percentage under CSR quote is what we are looking.  When Valmiki Foundation kick started this project a donor came forward with a mission of donation 50,000 Eggs followed by a press meet to spread the awareness on this project. Unfortunetly few agencies/corporates ones they get their mileage with out fulfilling their promises they vanish which is very unfortunate.

So our humble request to donors from Poultry forms to kindly come forward and join hands with our mission in EGG BANK to supply the nutrition food to these vulnerable Children all across the country to start with in Telangana state and spread all across for which we have a powerful Volunteer chain from Rotary Clubs all over who are willing to take part in identifying the real needy children from different NGOs and start supplying through the Egg Bank.

Valmiki Foundation distributed so far about 40,000 Eggs to most of the NGOs in and around the City of Hyderabad.  We have also written number of letters to NECC – National Egg Co Ordination Committee Chairperson : its very sad to say that NECC neighter sent an acknowledgement nor reply for this project and they keep spending lots of money on marketing activities and hardly pay attention on CSR activities like EGG Bank Initaitive.

Who ever support or not our mission will never stop we will take this project on a sustainable mode for which we need all your support not only the Poultry Industry even with the other support of Corporate Clients.
